Registered Children’s Home Support Worker job in Swindon,
We are looking for a Registered children’s home support worker for in our Ofsted Registered Children’s home in Swindon, which cares and supports young people aged between 8-18 years old.
No two days are the same! This role, as a Registered Children’s Home Support Worker requires someone who is kind, confident, clear-headed and who will remain calm. You’ll receive all the training you need to do the role as well as on-going training to expand your skills and deepen your knowledge and you’ll have the option to undertake a qualification if you wish to.
All our homes are staffed 24 hours a day, so you’ll be working a shift which is 16.5hr, and the typical pattern is 2 days on and 4 days off. On average, you’ll be working a minimum of 9 x 16.5 hr shift per month.
OTE salary is £33,950.40, along with a £400 welcome bonus.
As part of the team, you will assist with the running of the home and supporting our young people in their day-to-day activities.
Our Requirements (E: Essential and D: Desirable)
- Over the age of 21 (E)
- The right to work in the UK (E)
- Ability to travel and hold a clean driving license (E)
- Have use of vehicle with business insurance (E)
- Have gained or are working towards a diploma or QCF Level 3 in Healthcare or you are able to demonstrate skills and experience in this field of work. (D
